Colors of Spring

The first crocus of the year, picked for me by my little girl. Every time I look at it I smile. It's a promise of the spring about to bloom, and an 'I love you' from my little one.

I'm also starting my very first crochet project... these squares were eventually redone to perfection but you get the idea.


The pattern is the patchwork afghan from Lion Brand (available as a kit too) and while it's easy technically.... I will be weaving in ends till I'm 70. I just couldn't help myself - the colors are inspired!
